Required skillset

• 1–2 years of software engineering with strong .Net skills
• Familiar with web principles and experienced with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript
• Familiar with SQL Server / TSQL
• Familiarized with Agile Scrum methodology
• Familiarized with ticket management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps Boards
• AI-enabled development skills:
• Solid understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals and basic data preprocessing techniques.
• Ability to work with pre-trained foundation models (e.g., GPT, Llama, Gemini).
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted code completion tools.
• Familiarized with AI-augmented development workflows.

Project description

You will be part of an agile development team working for a German client specialized in designing and manufacturing mechanical and electronic locking cylinders, locks, and advanced access-control systems. The company is a key player in the building-management sector, integrating its products into complex physical security and information-management platforms.
You will contribute to the development of a mobile and web application that connects with an electronic locking cylinder via BLE and NFC, enabling remote door and premises access management.

    What kind of questions are asked in a technical interview?

    The interview will differ based on the seniority & type of role. We might include technical tests for internships (but don’t worry about it, it will contain only frequent questions from the subjects you have studied so far).

    What are the main technologies that Yonder works with?

    We use different technologies depending on the project we are working on, but you will have the opportunity to switch them. We work with .NET, Java, iOS, Angular, React, Vue, Android, SQL server, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Azure, GitLab, Outsystems.

    Can I work remotely?

    Yes, we value flexibility. We support hybrid work, a dynamic mix between work remotely and work from the office. This year we opened 2 new modern working spaces (Cluj Napoca and Iasi) which increases interaction and gives us the opportunity to take new initiatives.

Secondly, it is important to know the business principles to be able to understand the needs of Yonder's clients and contribute to their success. If you are passionate about your field keep up with industry trends. You should practice teamwork and communication because we have a close relationship with clients, team members and stakeholders. Last, but not least, be open to learning because Yonder is a fast – paced and dynamic environment.
