Georgiana Pankler – 30 yonderful moments to remember

In over 12 years spent here, Georgiana Pankler, our HR Manager, has not only witnessed the growth of our organization but also experienced her own personal and professional transformation. Her story stands as proof of the enriching moments, valuable friendships, and profound learnings that have shaped her throughout this extraordinary adventure.

“My yonderful journey is also my own story of growth, both as a person and as a professional. In these 12 years, I’ve got richer with many friends, lots of learnings, and beautiful memories I will cherish. I certainly managed to become more resilient, as it was not always easy, with some intense moments, but I appreciate the trust, freedom, and openness that have shaped me along the way.

There were so many events in these years, with different emotions and experiences attached to them, but there is one that made things clearer for me. When I joined Yonder, after being part of a multinational company, I was very much impressed by the energy, atmosphere, and smiles of the people around me. I felt that as being a bit unusual, as I’ve been told people in IT are more into tech and less into talk. Well, it was not the case in Yonder. And that happened because of all the talented people around here, part of them starting their career in Yonder and being successful years later.

So, we started to work closely with universities and student organizations, and in 2012, we attended our first job fair for students, Cariere in IT, organized by Hermes. It was a short notice event, for which we were not fully equipped (not with the typical goodies, nor with the team to organize it). But we’ve put all our effort and creativity to make it work. My colleague, who was our Communication Consultant at the time, while in her very first days in Yonder, had a great idea, of having some pink steps to guide everyone from the entrance to our stand. We spent the morning of the event sticking the pink steps on the floor, and it was a real success. Everyone noticed them, driven by curiosity and fun, so it was, after all, a great hook to get the young students to reach us and explore all the internship cool stuff we were doing. I think from that moment onward, although it was a bumpy start, there is no other edition we missed. That gave us the focus we still have – to have talented people onboard that give the young, techie, and fresh vibe of who we are today.”

Thank you Georgiana for sharing you memories with us and being a guidance for everyone!
