April 2026 was a very busy and productive month. Many of our Yonder colleagues were invited as speakers on AI topics at international conferences organized by different groups across the globe. Here are some of the highlights as they shared with us on LinkedIn.
Harris AI Summit Las Vegas
Attended by Daniel Lar and Paul Cirstean, who also wrote the LinkedIn post.
Bright lights, fast cars, and full commitment to AI at the CSI Harris Computer AI Summit in Las Vegas, the US.
What stood out most wasn’t just the content; it was seeing how much Harris business and technical leaders have embraced AI in creative and practical ways: reimagining presentations with AI agents, using AI to understand legacy codebases, extracting requirements from existing systems, and rethinking the business case for software product modernizations.
A recurring theme was the importance of creating a culture of experimentation, where people feel safe to try, fail, and learn.
I’m grateful that the Total Specific Solutions team had the opportunity to share some of what we’ve been working on:
– Daniel Lar showcased lessons learned from navigating the AI adoption journey across Yonder and TSS
– Daði Guðvarðarson shared his experience adopting AI-DLC within DK
– Pavel Krcal demonstrated how AI can be applied even in highly regulated environments like nuclear power plants
– I shared case studies and lessons learned from our work at the TSS Blue AI Lab
Key takeaway
A key takeaway that stuck with me: don’t remain on the sidelines. Don’t wait for the perfect playbook or a ready-made recipe. If you’re planning to increase AI adoption, start with an imperfect plan and improve along the way. The cost of waiting is becoming harder to justify than the cost of trying.
On a more personal note, one bucket-list moment from the trip was getting the chance to drive a Porsche GT3 around a race track. Turns out, full commitment applies both on and off the track.
Big thanks to the Harris Computer team and everyone involved for putting together such an energizing event.

Volaris Quadrants Copenhagen
Attended by several colleagues, among whom were Alina Iacob and Liliane Pavel, who wrote the post.
Happy to have had the chance to speak at Quadrants – Volaris Group’s flagship event and the world’s largest gathering of vertical market software leaders, bringing together 1,300+ leaders from across its global portfolio.
What makes it truly special is the spirit of peer learning – sharing real experiences, challenging each other, and giving back to a community that grows through connection.
Grateful for the conversations and the opportunity to contribute!
Post from someone who participated at Alina and Liliana’s presentation:
We’ve been told that AI is a technical revolution. After today, I’m convinced it’s actually a cultural one. 🧠✨
I walked into the session with Alina Iacob and Liliana Pavel (Gînju) from Yonder expecting a roadmap for tools. I walked out with something much more valuable: a complete shift in how I view transformation.
The reality? Technology is the easy 20%. The real challenge is the 80%—the culture, the people, and the “knowing-doing” gap.
Alina and Liliana challenged us to move beyond standard training plans and start looking for “Cultural Signals.” It’s not about how many people use a chatbot; it’s about:
- Rewiring our roles: Moving from “builders” to “orchestrators” of value.
- Psychological Safety: Creating an environment where “productive failure” is shared, not hidden.
- Speed of Learning: Making the ability to adapt our primary competitive advantage.
The AI Cultural Signal Audit they shared is a practical, eye-opening way for us to stop guessing and start intentionally steering our organizations toward an AI-native future. It has completely reframed my approach to how we lead through this transformation.
A huge thank you to Alina Iacob and Liliana Pavel (Gînju) for opening my mind and providing the clarity needed to navigate this ambiguity.

Fame Conference in Florida
Invited to speak were Ionut Pac-Balaj and Bogdan Chiorean, who also wrote the post.
Last week, my colleague Ionut and I had the opportunity to present our vision on AI and share practical examples at the Fame Forward annual conference in Hollywood, Florida, to over 100 representatives from career schools across the US. The experience was enjoyable, and we left with a positive vibe.
I would like to express my gratitude to Ricky Alfaro and Dave Badun for this opportunity. It was also a pleasure to meet some of our old friends, Joseph Gonzalez and Steven Pabom, in person again.
The highlights were the view from the hotel and the good food.
Looking forward to our future sessions together.

Juniper Organic Growth Conference Mallorca
I shared a keynote on how to approach AI as an operating system, not just a tool, to generate organic growth across our businesses at Constellation. The conversations that followed made everything even more exciting.
It was great to spend time with folks across many Constellation and Juniper companies, exchanging perspectives and seeing how differently and creatively AI is being applied.
A big thank you to Ray Alabern and Tomeu Bennàssar Quetglas for the leadership and for making this event happen. And to Jaime Sastre, Tyler O’Hagan, and Damian McKay for their sharp, inspiring insights on AI and its role in shaping our businesses. And to Marius Indrie and Yonder for making it possible, and for the support and the good time we had.
Also, lots of recognition and good thoughts to all the other speakers on stage, who made a positive impact on my days.
On a personal note, I felt really good: presenting, energized, and aligned with the discussions. And I also enjoyed the island’s vibe, tapas, and the good mood that 300 days of sun on average brings out there.
Everything just came together so well.

Harris Leadership Event Dallas and Harris AI Summit Manchester, UK
This April, I had the privilege of presenting Yonder’s best practices and expertise on AI at two remarkable events. First, a plenary session at the AI Summit in Manchester, hosted by Harris International Group. And also a breakout session at the Harris Leadership Event in Dallas, where I joined at the invitation of Onyx Group.
Both rooms shared one thing: leaders who understand AI isn’t a trend to monitor. It is a capability to build into the core of how their organizations think, decide, and operate. Beyond sharing best practices, I also saw firsthand the depth of experience and the real results Harris brings to the table. It is a reminder that vision means little without proven execution behind it.
Truly thankful for these opportunities. And I am energized to keep building, sharing, and shaping this conversation alongside forward-thinking leaders driving meaningful change.
