Anca Cuc, Business Unit Director in Cluj-Napoca, takes the floor today and tells us a story from 2017 when she returned from maternity leave to resume her role as Delivery Manager. This marked the beginning of a remarkable chapter filled with challenges and uncertainties, as Anca took the helm of a team tasked with serving a new client in the banking field.
”Outsystems was our tool of choice. It’s known for its speed and capability to bring value rapidly, therefore, in mere weeks, our product, TOM (Treasury Order Management), was operational. TOM digitizes order management, dramatically simplifying the bank’s previously cumbersome 2-hour procedure to less than 2 minutes. During our first visit to the client, we saw TOM convert a €500,000 transaction into dollars. The elation on our client’s face highlighted the profound change we instigated. My pride in my team was immense.
Our client then suggested a loud notification feature. Initially postponed by the Product Owner, we promptly incorporated it in the next sprint, reinforcing our bond and strong collaboration.
Approaching my 18th year at Yonder in 2024, my pride in my team’s milestones remains intense. The company’s growth and the evolution of our projects are astounding. While I’ve gained extensive insights over the years, it’s not just about technology. It’s about forging impactful change, cultivating relationships, and being part of a transformative journey. I’ve seen so many different contexts, projects, processes, and markets. I’ve learned something from each one. Yonder grows year by year, but I also grow with every new and different experience I go through, and that’s something I truly am grateful for.”
