Last week I was in Raleigh, North Carolina, organizing another Yonder AI-DLC Workshop, this time together with 2 Altera Digital Health business units: Touchworks and Paragon.
3 teams came together with our Yonder AI Champions, curious to learn from the best practices we’ve refined through working with more than 100 customers every year and to explore how AI can be used in a structured, repeatable way to build reliable software.
I want to congratulate them for their impressive results! All teams achieved more than they initially expected, while using fewer tokens than forecasted. But even more rewarding was seeing the enthusiasm at the end of the workshop, not only about what they had built, but about the methodology itself and how they could take these learnings back to their teams.
Thank you, John Sage, Raj Mehra, and Yagnesh Patel, for the collaboration and trust throughout these days, and a special thank you to our AI Champions Czinege Zoltan, Scheck Levente, and Alecsandra Sabo for guiding the teams through the workshops and sharing their experience.
Another great example of what can happen when AI, methodology, and strong collaboration come together.

Sunny skies, mountain views, and lots of AI discussions at the Perseus Group, Constellation Software EPIC Conference in beautiful Whistler, Canada 🇨🇦
Daniel Zinman opened the conference with a very clear message on both the opportunity and the threat AI creates for VMS companies. AI was definitely the main topic in the room. The word “AI” appeared 41 times across the session titles on the agenda.
I had the opportunity to share my perspective on looking at AI beyond the next quarter: moving the conversation beyond near-term productivity gains and thinking about what AI means for our products, competitive moats, and the value we create for customers over the coming years.
It was also a pleasure to sit on the jury for the AI Initiative Battle and see the finalists present strong, practical AI solutions.
Special thanks to Kara Goetz and her team for putting together such a great event.

My third Epic at Perseus Group, Constellation Software, brought me a fresh perspective. As always!
A few days in Whistler with bright minds from our industry reminded me why I enjoy what we do Yonder. People were not afraid, but excited about what was coming: long-term AI capabilities and sustainable innovation.
Not a buzzword.
Not a threat.
The biggest opportunity our industry has seen in a long time.
The shift happening in real time: “what if we lose?” has transformed into “how do we win?”
That mindset change is everything.
Through it all, one thing stayed constant: customer-centricity.
AI is a powerful enabler, but it creates value only when pointed in the right direction: toward real business problems and long-term capability.
5 things I’m taking home:
Ajay T.: Aligning leadership around clear priorities and quarterly rocks is essential to reduce operational noise and execute with discipline.
Paul Cirstean: Companies that win with AI are not chasing headlines; they are building long-term capability.
Kate Porter, MBA: Moving AI features from POC to production-ready requires disciplined validation and zero compromise on quality.
Martijn Ivens: True innovation isn’t just a process. It might become a repeatable engine that scales ideas into millions in business value.
Daniel A. Chen: Combining deep industry experience with AI-powered agility lets teams validate, build, and scale new ideas faster than ever.
Daniel Zinman, Kara Goetz, Rebecca B.: I am grateful for the incredible atmosphere in Whistler and the chance to contribute to these meaningful dialogues. It’s a real honor!

Back from the TSS Public Leadership Summit in Antwerp
A full day with inspiring business leaders, and 3 things stuck with me.
First: growth starts with curiosity, not control. Be curious about your clients’ work, even in departments you don’t interact with much. Look for needs instead of solutions. Growth is a habit of paying attention.
Second: be bold, be humble, always learn. Run small experiments. Visit clients to observe, and price for the value created.
Third: being slow comes at a price. Disruption rewards speed, not size.
What Ill take back to my own work: get closer to the people who use what we build, be braver about testing new ideas, and stop waiting for the quot;safequot; moment to act.
Grateful to have spent the day with so many sharp, driven colleagues from across Topicus.com, Total Specific Solutions and Yonder. Already looking to embed the learnings and move the needle.
Thank you, Han Knooren, for creating space for such inspiring conversations!

TSS Public Leadership Summit 2026, Antwerp. Crossing New Frontiers
Last year: AI is transforming our industry.
This year: the impact of that transformation is already visible across TSS Public, in the focus and in the results.
Adoption is no longer the hard part. What comes after it is. That is the frontier worth crossing.
Congratulations to the organizing team for an outstanding summit, and thank you to everyone who made the conversations count.

Our Yonder Executive Briefings in Windsor, UK
Busy weeks, with many learnings
On 29–30 September, we hosted the 5th edition of the Yonder AI Executive Briefing in Windsor, with focused groups of portfolio managers from across CSI and leaders from independent software companies. The discussions were the highlight for me. They started over dinner at The Windsor Guildhall and carried on long after the sessions ended, as leaders shared lessons on what they are trying, what is working and what isn’t.
A week earlier, on 24 September, I was in Antwerp for the International TSS Public Summit, among almost 600 leaders from around the world.
A few things stayed with me from both, starting with a line Paul Cirstean shared in Windsor: “There are decades where nothing happens, and there are months where decades happen.” The questions about AI have matured, and they are now less about what the tools can do and more about what AI means for the business over the coming years. Leaders speak openly about their setbacks, and that is where the most useful exchanges happen. Whether the room is vast or intimate, the best insights still come from each other.
Kudos to our presenters in Windsor, Paul Cirstean, Remus Pereni, Alex Coman, and a big thank you to our guests, who made the conversations what they were.
