Career Manager, Cluj-Napoca

We are looking for a new colleague to join us as a Career Manager and play a strategic role in people development by supporting Yonder communities in realizing their ambitions, guiding them to be pro-active, entrepreneurial, taking their future and development in their own hands. In this role, you will be responsible for the qualitative and quantitative growth of the community within the framework of company’s strategic goals. 

Key activities areas: 

Performance management 

  • Responsible for setting, reviewing and implementing the Performance Management Process in tight collaboration with other stakeholders 
  • Identifies competency gaps as well as new or emerging needs and recommends actions to be taken 
  • Continuously update the competencies frameworks in collaboration with other stakeholders 

Career paths management 

  • Responsible for setting, reviewing and implementing career development paths for employees 
  • Fosters the potential in all employees 
  • Supports the ongoing development of the employees and proactively identifies development needs 
  • Identifies and nominates technical mentors if the need is expressed 

Human Resource management 

  • Understands relevant business issues and the organization’s operating procedures and priorities 
  • Responsible, together with the Delivery Managers in identifying the appropriate employee with the needed skills for the projects 
  • Centralizes the competencies, strengths and ambitions of the managed people 
  • Responsible for constant input and reporting needed in reviewing the Compensation System, Training Plans and other People Processes 

Knowledge sharing 

  • Works together with the other Career Managers in aligning the knowledge sharing activities 
  • Identifies and encourages people to gather knowledge, to build their technical skills and aim for continuous learning in their domain 
  • Proposes professionals for technical trainings, certifications and events 
  • Encourages and supports people to be active in their community 
  • Works together with other stakeholders in organizing internal trainings & identifying the best topics and trainers 

Community builder

  • Sustains periodical formal and informal discussions with managed people within the community on their career path aspirations 
  • Enables people to become independent and mature professionals 
  • Ensures employees understand their role and business requirements 
  • Builds up relationships with the employees within the assigned communities

Specific knowledge and experience 

  • Previous experience in coordinating teams, proven potential in terms of people agility 
  • Knowledge and ability to work with metrics, including gathering, reporting
