Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field

· 3–5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Financial Audit, or similar roles

· Experience in a Big4 audit company is a plus

· Previous exposure to the IT industry is an advantage

 

Skills & Competencies

· Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles

· Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel); experience with data analysis and Power BI is a plus

· Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills

· Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and ability to work independently

· Comfortable working in a dynamic, project-driven environment

· Able to manage multiple priorities, remain flexible and adapt quickly

· Fluent in English (both spoken and written)

Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical finance professional to support our acquisition strategy in the CEE region. Initially, the role will be project-based, focusing on due diligence and post-acquisition integration, role evolving subsequently into a business partner for newly acquired companies.

You will work closely with the Manager Finance & Control and local Finance teams, especially during the first months of integrating new entities into our ecosystem. The role is a great opportunity for someone with a background in finance or audit, enthusiastic about project work, business integration and performance management.

 

Project-based responsibilities (initial stage)

Participate in financial due diligence processes for potential acquisitions:

  • Analyze historical financials, forecasts, business plans, annual reports, and other relevant documentation
  • Summarize findings, identify key risks, and propose mitigation strategies
  • Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Engage with the finance teams of target companies to understand their financial setup

 

Act as Business Integrator during the first 3 months post-acquisition:

  • Kick off the TSS strategy with the local team
  • Assess accounting and reporting systems
  • Support the design and implementation of financial and business controlling frameworks
  • Collaborate with the Manager Finance & Control to ensure a smooth onboarding of the acquired company into our reporting structure

 

Recurring responsibilities (as the role transitions)

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports to support decision-making
  • Monitor business unit performance using financial models and KPIs
  • Translate business expectations into financial forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
  • Support forecasting and business plan development
  • Assist management with pricing strategies, cost control and efficiency initiatives
  • Analyze customer churn and support cash flow planning
  • Act as a sparring partner to internal stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Promote continuous improvement and share best practices within the finance community

    What kind of questions are asked in a technical interview?

    The interview will differ based on the seniority & type of role. We might include technical tests for internships (but don’t worry about it, it will contain only frequent questions from the subjects you have studied so far).

    What are the main technologies that Yonder works with?

    We use different technologies depending on the project we are working on, but you will have the opportunity to switch them. We work with .NET, Java, iOS, Angular, React, Vue, Android, SQL server, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Azure, GitLab, Outsystems.

    Can I work remotely?

    Yes, we value flexibility. We support hybrid work, a dynamic mix between work remotely and work from the office. This year we opened 2 new modern working spaces (Cluj Napoca and Iasi) which increases interaction and gives us the opportunity to take new initiatives.
