  • Own the software release processes and manage deployments among multiple teams for different applications
  • Contribute as a DevOps engineer, including code development, code reviews, deployment, operations, issue resolution & monitoring activities
  • Build and maintain tools that will help us deploy, measure, monitor and scale our applications and infrastructure
  • Be part of the on-call team and support de cloud environments with a 24/7 availability
  • Assist with debug issues from the network layer all the way to the application layer
  • Responsible for implementing Security and Compliance requirements
  • Monitor multiple environments quality, stability and performance
  • Develop and Improve operational and engineering practices and procedures
  • Working and collaborating closely with the team and the wider business within an agile environments using different methodologies (Scrum , Kanban, etc.)


Technical Overview:

  • Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS)
  • Configuration management tools (Puppet)
  • Log aggregation and metric collection (ELK Stack)
  • Version control system (Git)
  • Scripting languages (Ruby, Python, Bash)
  • Java application platforms (Tomcat, Jboss, Wildfly)
  • Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Virtualisation and containerization solutions (VMWare, Docker)
  • Build and package management tools (Jenkins, Gitlab)
  • Webservers (Nginx, Apache)


What are we looking for:

  • Basic Linux Administration experience
  • Basic knowledge of Git, SVN or other Version Control Systems
  • Basic database usage experience (preferred PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, etc.).
  • Preferred experience with Webservers (Nginx, Apache)
  • Preferred experience configuring complex software settings, installation and maintenance
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable in an environment where innovation and change are the norm
