For our Headquarters TSS, we are looking for a skilled Mid-General Ledger Accountant who will be part of TSS team; he/she will be based in Yonder office in Iasi.

Your role would be to manage efficiently, timely and accurate all aspects related to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Travel/Training/Protocol Expenses reports, provide related accounting support, maintain, and develop related internal control policies and procedures.

There are some key activities that you will do:

Responsible for all Accounts Receivable operations:

  • maintain up-to-date billing system and project database: project changes, customer database, signed contracts;
  • check, validate and approve the invoices generated by Delivery Managers in the billing tool;
  • offer support to the Delivery Manager teams for various topics: invoice in advance, deferred revenue, revenue accrual;
  • generate manual invoices upon request;
  • configure new projects/ new customers in our internal tool and check the status of signed commercial contracts;
  • perform the revenue recognition process;
  • carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines;
  • provide appropriate accounting information to customers when needed and investigate/resolve any related queries;
  • monitor customer account details for overdue invoices and timely follow up and query resolution to ensure issues resolved on time;
  • perform Intercompany account reconciliations and related payment allocation;
  • assist with month-end closing activities (internal and group reporting) especially related to intercompany transactions;
  • provide supporting documentation for audits;

Responsible for Accounts Payable operations and Travel/Training/Protocol Expenses reports processing:

  • process invoices (travel, training, protocol, benefits expenses) in a timely and accurate manner in ERP – EXACT Globe Next, ensuring compliance with tax regulation and group requirements;
  • interact with vendors to facilitate the AP process (including vendor database maintenance);
  • interact with other departments (Office, HR, IT) and employees to answer about accounting topics;
  • calculate the daily allowance and travel expenses, when needed;
  • perform the vendor reconciliation;
  • assist in preparing supporting documentation for audit;
  • perform ad-hoc reporting requirements/analysis;

Fulfill any task assigned by direct supervisor in accordance with professional experience and area of expertise.

The profile we are looking for:

  • education required: Economic degree will certainly bring you an advantage;
  • at least 2-3 year of relevant working experience;
  • good level of English language (written and spoken);
  • good PC skills and Microsoft Office knowledge;
  • good MS Office Excel capabilities;
  • ability to analyze data and produce meaningful insights and reports with strong attention to detail;
