Required skillset
  • Minimum two years of Python 3 experience, writing clean, idiomatic code to PEP-8.
  • Solid grasp of object-oriented and asynchronous Python (asyncio, async/await) and the wider ecosystem (Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, httpx). Comfortable in structured, packaged, production codebases — not just notebooks or scripts
  • Experience designing and building REST APIs with a modern web framework (FastAPI, Django, Flask or equivalent), including validation, authentication, and pagination
  • Good working knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, network utilities and OS primitives (sockets, pipes, processes, threads, signals)
  • Sound understanding of communication protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, WebSockets, SSE/streaming) and common design patterns (repository, service layer, dependency injection)
  • Confident with Git and collaborative workflows (branching, code review, CI)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work productively in a distributed team
  • Analytical thinking and a pragmatic problem-solving attitude

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and hands-on experience integrating LLM-powered services (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, AWS Bedrock, Mistral) into production applications
  • Exposure to agent/LLM frameworks (pydantic-ai, LangChain or similar), prompt design, tool calling, and streaming responses
  • Experience with document-processing pipelines (PDF, DOCX, PPTX, email parsing and text extraction)
  • Familiarity with AWS or another major cloud provider (ECS/Fargate, S3, KMS, SSM, Cognito)
  • Knowledge of Docker, Podman, Kubernetes or equivalent containerization/orchestration tools
Responsibilities
  • Build AI-powered document processing and agent features — analysis, data extraction, and structured report generation
  • Design, develop, and maintain multi-tenant backend services and REST APIs
  • Deliver features, fix bugs, and keep systems healthy in a fast-moving product and market
  • Maintain and patch security-sensitive dependencies to keep the platform secure and compliant
  • Improve backend reliability through robust error handling, input validation, and observability
  • Collaborate using Agile practices (Scrum, GitHub, Jira, Notion) across multiple locations and timezones
Growth opportunities
  • Be part of a group of tech people involved in tech initiatives (Techboard)
  • Have exposure to a variety of projects, designed for various industries: financial, e-learning, food management, warehouse management and others
  • Work in an innovative environment, develop projects using various technologies
  • Opportunities to experiment with and apply AI technologies to enhance products, processes, and delivery outcomes.
