Required skillset

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Business Economics, Accounting & Control or Finance, with experience in a relevant field (Deals, Finance, Financial Audit, etc.)
• 1–2 years of experience as a financial analyst or in a similar role
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel; Power BI is a plus
• Solid knowledge of corporate finance and accounting
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities
  • Build, monitor, and enhance financial models to assess business unit performance, providing quantitative and qualitative insights

  • Analyze financial and accounting information, including historical records, management reports, forecasts, business plans, financial statements, and annual reports

  • Perform variance analysis and track key performance indicators (KPIs), translating results into actionable insights for management

  • Support internal finance reporting processes in close collaboration with Senior Business Controllers and Finance & Control Managers

  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and prepare management presentations for senior stakeholders, including the Group CFO and Finance Directors

  • Contribute to financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, identifying key risks and proposing mitigation strategies

Project description

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our international Finance team at TSS Group. You will be part of our Romanian Finance team based in Cluj-Napoca and will report directly to one of our Finance Managers.

You will collaborate closely with Finance Directors, Finance & Control Managers, Senior Business Controllers and Business Leaders, playing a pivotal role in supporting our leadership team to execute the organization’s strategic vision for rapid expansion across Europe and, ultimately, into markets beyond Europe. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a strong background in finance and a demonstrated passion for continuous development within the financial sector.

 

In this role, you will have the chance to:

  • Work on cross-functional finance projects focused on performance analysis, forecasting, and strategic decision support

  • Support acquisition-related projects through financial analysis and due diligence activities

  • Consolidate and interpret complex financial data to support strategic and operational decision-making

    What kind of questions are asked in a technical interview?

    The interview will differ based on the seniority & type of role. We might include technical tests for internships (but don’t worry about it, it will contain only frequent questions from the subjects you have studied so far).

    What are the main technologies that Yonder works with?

    We use different technologies depending on the project we are working on, but you will have the opportunity to switch them. We work with .NET, Java, iOS, Angular, React, Vue, Android, SQL server, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Azure, GitLab, Outsystems.

    Can I work remotely?

    Yes, we value flexibility. We support hybrid work, a dynamic mix between work remotely and work from the office. This year we opened 2 new modern working spaces (Cluj Napoca and Iasi) which increases interaction and gives us the opportunity to take new initiatives.

Secondly, it is important to know the business principles to be able to understand the needs of Yonder's clients and contribute to their success.
