Yonder and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce

Meet the team

Business Unit Director Marius Indrie and Head of Product and Innovation Bogdan Chiorean will represent our company at the December event of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce. Both have been withYonder for over a decade and look forward to meeting new people and companies and helping them with their software needs. Whether it is software development, architecture, strategy, or innovation, Yonder has assisted clients across the globe.

I started my career as an entrepreneur, running an advertising agency and supporting various startups. And my passion for combining new technologies with business demand and potential has only increased,” says Bogdan. Even today, he strongly advocates incremental innovation and believes the key to sustained success is combining best practices with solid processes to achieve product excellence. “Yonder is part of a large software group, Total Specific Solutions, that believes in sharing knowledge and best practices. This allows me to continuously expand my knowledge, test hypotheses, and grow through best practices. And that is to the benefit of our clients. I see myself as a serial entrepreneur, representing the needs and solving my clients’ challenges.”

We have become a client-focused, result-driven company, and I now make sure the operations run smoothly.” Marius is very much a people person, ensuring the employees have what they need, from the right tools and knowledge to a safe and inspiring work environment. “I also stay in touch with all our clients, communicating with them regularly and making sure they feel valued and heard. Although I am a technology buff, I enjoy managing the unit. It also makes me understand our clients much better.”

Who are our clients?

Yonder is a technology partner for software companies and enterprises delivering software development and consultancy services. We have worked for companies within the extended software group that we belong to and independent software companies and enterprises outside of our group.

Yonder has clients across the globe, including Europe, North America, and Australia. These clients vary in size (from startups to large enterprises) and markets they serve (healthcare, local government, finance and insurance, food & beverage, real estate, and many more.)

What do we do?

Our long(er) term software development services include:

Development, modernization, and process optimization

You may have an existing, well-valued software solution where you need a partner to continue developing the standard software so you can focus on the specific customer needs. Or you wish to assess whether the processes are as optimized as possible so you don’t let unseen revenue slip through the cracks.

Software development is our business, and processes are at the core of our engine. Modernizations require experience, and we have helped many clients with modernizations and have a strategy featuring multiple options depending on the need and lifecycle stage.

Customer experience and design

You stay ahead of the competition by creating modern digital experiences. Your customers have continuously evolving demands, and no software solution can go without a dynamic, modern experience. This and a well-aligned design should be an integral part of your product strategy.

Software solutions consist of 3 layers: the systems of intelligence, systems of engagement, and systems of records. Sometimes, all that is needed is a refresh of the customer experience and the systems of engagement to give your product that competitive edge.

New technologies

New technologies appear on the market all the time. Before applying any innovative, hip new tech solution in your B2B or enterprise software, they need to mature enough to prove their value to clients and users. We investigate the commercial viability of new promising technologies. Then wWe help you, the domain experts, to choose the right tool and supplier for your needs.

We use these technologies to develop new features/apps, giving you an advantage in the market and your tools a good user experience. Our Yonder Hackathons are held annually but can also be hosted as a private event. These hackathons are specifically designed to focus on innovation and have our clients return with a clickable prototype to take to their customers for further iterations.

DevOps and cloud

Digital transformation and modern solutions require moving your software solutions to the cloud. Only then can you deliver your solutions to your market 24/7 on any device. Plus, nowadays, end users often rely on aggregated information from multiple solutions to give them the single overview they need.

DevOps brings Development and Operations closer together rather than regarding these two as separate silos. By applying DevOps solutions, our clients increase their efficiency by having a quick delivery time, more effective cooperation between teams, and continuous release and deployment cycles. So, DevOps gives you more visibility and control over your product and, thus, operations.

Consultancy

We offer our clients a comprehensive approach to software development that includes consultancy and high-value services. These can be short-term, stand-alone engagements or be included in the overall product development.

To be a true one-stop technology partner for all software needs, we created new value-adding services for architecture, security, product strategy, and more. We have developed services for clients focusing on specific areas such as M&A.

Our consultancy or high-value-added services

In addition to our software development and DevOps work, which is the bread and butter of our company, we noticed that clients require specific one-off services to help them in certain areas. Yonder has the technical expertise and people to help you with such needs. Below, you will find an overview of our consultancy services and the flyers. Feel free to reach out and ask for more detailed information. Our team looks forward to discussing them with you so they can fit your specific needs.

Want to find out more about software modernizations?

Our CTO, Remus Pereni, met with Bogdan Chiorean, Head of Product Innovation, to discuss software modernization and the six approaches. They discuss the opportunities and risks of each type of modernization.

We have provided software modernizations for our clients over the past thirty years. Bogdan and his colleagues sat down and discussed the different types of modernization projects they had encountered. They wanted to see if they could quantify the projects into different categories. And they could; they came up with six modernization types and then had to find appropriate names for them.
